"Why should the FA hire you?"

This is easy;

My strategy, I don't think this has been done before.....

Pick players who have been playing regularly all season.

Don't pick players who have injured for most of the season.

Pick players who are in form.

Play the players you picked in their natural position.

Tell the players you picked to only pass the ball to other players wearing the same shirt as you.

Revolutionary I know.....

I have a plan.

I will take the exact same team out for the world cup qualifiers. Play the first half of the first game, come in at half time, switch on the telly, watch the first half dissection by the pundits, implement all their ideas, go back out and see what happens. Listen to post match dissection and bring in different players for all the pundits who'd like to see so and so here or such and such there. Go out for next match, rinse and repeat until i'm being showered by isotonic lucozade, tightly clutching the world cup

My strategy would be that England should score more goals whilst not letting their opponents get any.

You can't argue with that. It's a cast iron guarantee of international success.

I can start next week. Do I get an hour or half an hour for lunch break?

Oh, add in a bit of tactical maturity. For example, when playing a team who keep 11 men behind the ball in their own third of the pitch, don't try and get behind them by lobbing high balls out of defence, up to your two strikers, who are obviously surrounded by 10 outfield players of the other team.

It won't work.

It's never worked.

Dear England, please try something new......

Pick me, I know Rooney isn't the answer. Every time he's on the ball the commentator screams his name excitedly, we all know he's going to give it away
