It is probably just me.

It irritates me when Wimbledon commentators refer to a "grand slam."

You can't win Wimbledon without winning all your matches, you silly beggars. Of course it is a grand slam.

There are 4 grand slam tournaments in tennis; australian, french, wimbledon and US.

If you win all 4 in the same year, you have completed THE grand slam
