Oh I am soooooooooooooooooo feckin' chuffed. You should see the box of wires and cables I have just stuffed into the loft. No more switching printer cables from one place to another, no more having to be in the office to actually print something, no more data sticks or emailing to get something from one machine to another or needing to move stuff to get it to the correct printer......... I couldn't be happier if I'd just invented a vibrator which turned into chocolate when you switched it off.

That reminded me.... when those companies ask if you've had your grant for loft insulation, I always tell them it's been done for years. They usually then ask how deep the insulation is.... I have started telling them "about 3 foot"... if you include the bin-liners full of clothes and shoes.

Don't talk to me about lofts, we are planning to move soon and the other half told me I needed to get rid of at least Fifty black bags if the surveyor is going to get into our rear loft!

Why is it so much easier to put things up there than it is to get them down?

You'd think (with physics 'n' all) it would be the other way around?
