Green Cove

Proud to be British and that the UK showed the world what a free society is about.

Just ashamed of the remainers how much they moan like the democrats do over here when things dont go their way.

Guess it will be pointless sit ins like dems over here did this week.

The UK has always been a world leader and a strong economy. Now is the time to show that strength and leadership

This was a democratic vote where everyone had their chance to vote and like it or not, the Leave Campaign won by a huge overwhelming majority which was the voice of Britain

.

again a huge overwhelming majority which was the voice of Britain

In terms of it being a huge majority I would disagree statistically only around 37/38% of the British electorate voted to leave the EU. With 28% of the people not voting at all.

I won't comment on whether I think it's right or not right, the referendum terms determined that whichever side of the referendum for over 50% of the votes cast would be the majority and as such the will of the people.

I wonder what the result would have been if the government had said there should be a 2/3rds or more majority in favour of exiting, would more people have voted, would more people voted no to the EU or yes?

on the road to nowhere in particular

Why is democracy such a bad thing when the result goes against you?

If you want to play the statistics game, only one region in England (London) voted to remain. The rest of the country voted to leave. If the same system of counting for general elections was used, it would have been a landslide for the leave campaign.

I've just seen a post spreading on Facebook saying

" Dear Europe we still love you..

Warmest regards the 48%"

It's completely retarded shit like this that blew it for you...you were voting to stay in Europe ...NOT the EU...you're a hateful little bunch

I've left the EU...I've haven't lost any love, respect or care for Europe.

I wasn't making a statement about my thoughts. He said the overwhelming majority voted to leave. I was stating statistical facts on the basis of his argument.

And I never said the result went against my vote or not.
