Brighton - even Hove!

It's preference but there is no reason for rudeness from anyone about other peoples physical looks.

"Women" aren't. Maybe a tiny proportion are, but "women" aren't.

I'm not "heigtist" and don't know anyone who is "heigtist".

Just a guess here but you've been turned down by someone because you don't meet their height preference?

Get over it. Message people whose preferences you do fit.

Of course, some people consider "no thank you" to be rudeness.

Irreverent point

And did say stories as well as personally

And I can name one member still here who has taken upon themselves to message me and say don't look at me or talk to me when your shorter than me... WTF - why why, why feel the need to be aggressive - such as you just have been

Reading

I am heightist, but I like to think I approach the height thing with a touch of humour. My personal preference is men who are taller than me. That's my choice. I'm not abusive about it though...

Those who ignore my clearly stated preferences and message me anyway, well... My profile is fair warning that I'll be blocking them accordingly.

No offence to you but I am heightist...

Read my status and my profile but if you did I would hope you didn't contact me as that is my preference...

As someone who is 6ft tall I don't particularly want to meet someone who is a lot shorter than me and that's my prerogative

All you have to understand op is that it is a preference of most women to only seek taller men .

Same on Pof , same as a night out on the town and even dwarfs prefer taller men .

But there are some who don't mind.

Good luck

Why the need to slag off all women when one woman hurt your feelings by asking people she's not interested in not to contact her, like you just have?

.

Women receive hundreds of messages a day. You might not meet their criteria, you might. It's not an 'ist', it's personal choice.

See that makes sense and being polite is fine... but it's the "abuse" that's uncalled for - as in literally berating them

In fairness, you do insist on women with "high standards" on your profile.

And there's your problem, thinking that something not going your way is rudeness.

Saying no thanks isn't rude. Blocking isn't rude.

Why you feel the need to assume and abuse me personally is harsh

I've been told by other people they have experienced the same

Your attitude is unnecessary and inflammatory

You opened your post by slagging off women because one or two have done something you don't like. THAT is inflammatory and unnecessary.

Since you have said you think being blocked is rude I also question whether any rudeness actually occurred.

Berating them? Just steer clear of women who express a preference for taller men and you should be ok... If you get abuse report them, block them and move on ... Simples

I'm a shortarse and hate myself for it but what can you do?,....it' is bloody annoying when you Gotta do a sneaky walk by in a bar to test the height difference!!....guys that are 6 ft don't have that problem, but then, oh well, I totally understand why a women's preference would be taller guys, mine would be too I guess! I just try to except there's nothing I can do so fair enough!
