Things have changed today, and nothing will be the same again, some people have said things that they can never take back, vile hateful things, that I can never forget they have said, so if you sack me who WON the referendum, the answer is no one, not one damn person, brecasuse nothing we wanted to change will change, but everything else will.

Its a bloody shame

If there's one thing this eu referendum has shown me is how quickly the mindsets of people revert back to the 60/70s with regards to immigration, work etc..

It's left me cold to hear talk and language reminiscent of those times when I was growing up as a kid.

Discrimination will never go away it's always there bubbling away and it doesn take much for it to resurface!

It was a lose-lose situation. Whatever the result, there were bound to be problems.

I would like to think that most voters did not vote leave from any discriminatory point of view.

Absolutely - and let's not overlook that Anjem Choudry (and no doubt all his supporters) voted remain. Does that make all remainers misogynistic, homophobic, xenophobic, racist, terrorist supporters?

on the road to nowhere in particular

I know people very close to me with very left wing tendencies who voted to leave, most of my black friends voted to leave, none of those could be considered racists in my opinion.

Looking at some of the people who came up on my Facebook feed (friends of friends, not people I necessarily know) that voted to remain and there weren't many that admitted that they were going to vote remain, they were the ones that expressed remarks that I considered of a racist tone. They were the ones saying that "European migrants " ie: White migrants were acceptable. Other races were not.

The block button has been out in force with these vile people

What I've learnt is that there's been two key referendums (referenda?) in recent years.

Both have been terribly divisive and turned friends and families against each other.

Let's not do another referendum for a while hey?

I'm gutted! Friday was supposed to be amazing! I was going to wake up in my Union Jack jim-jams to the sound of a squadron of Spitfires racing overhead and leaving a trail of hot buttered crumpets behind them

I was going to run to the corner shop past all the British children who were laughing and squealing with excitement as they made a beautiful statue of the queen out of happy wriggling bulldog puppies - with two corgis for her eyebrows!

Bunting fluttered everywhere and the man from the betting shop stepped into the street - "Guess what! England just won the World Cup & The Ashes & The Grand National and here's the best bit - Boris put a bet on it for everyone! We are all MILLIONAIRES!!!"

The red arrows flew overhead dropping fish and chips as I walked into the corner shop, to get my morning paper. "How much please?" I said to the Asian lad there. "1 pence, everything in the whole shop now costs just 1p!" he laughed, "leave it on the counter, I'm off back to Pakistan - we all are!"

And he was right! Outside in the streets jolly old Nigel Farage was leading a huge crowd of happy foreigners - Turks, Poles, Romanians, Syrians - there were even a few English people with heavy suntans mixed up in there!

Nigel was playing Rule Britannia on a long pipe, rather like the pipe that takes the gas into your oven, and they're all following and smiling and talking foreign, bless them!

Just then Boris flew overhead in a concorde made of Bank of England gold - "don't worry!" he laughed. "I've cut out all the bits the French made!" And with that he crashed into the ground at 1200 miles an hour, along with the economy, the country and all the dozy nostalgic foreigner-fearing

Just saying!

The people voted, what's done is done, but I think the full aftermath of the referendum is yet to show itself, you see there's a tiny section of British society that is hrell bent on staging everyone into a race war, when it needn't happen, and this small minority is responsible for.....

The flags of england and great Britain being seen as racist.

The people of the UK, who voted out being called rasists.

Political correctness, and its current mental health status (its PC gone mad!)

The fear mongering social media groups, that post lies, to pull people into their racist agenda.

Only today, I've seen there has been incidents of polish people being told to go home, that helps no one, especially Britain, while this small section of sociotey is intent on dividing the country, how can we work together to build a better future?

I would have preferred to stay, in, but I wasn't the majority, so I move on, but everyone, has to get down to the business of building s better future for ALL British people
