Cold Germs and Work

Can a cold get worse or return if you don't take it easy? Am on a zero hour physical outdoor job and waiting to be called in.. Cold is abating but still there a bit. Will it get worse again if i go to work?

Colds don't generally get worse again once they are going it's just a virus now man up and get to work

your body has used extra energy doing extra things to get rid of the cold you had. this can leave you vulnerable to future virus attacks or you might need more rest as you get tired easier.

being in or out won't make any difference apart to how comfortable you feel. outdoors is probably better if the air is fresh actually.

You could become reinfected whilst your immune system is low.

aww thanks sophi, no pay lost yet as i haven't been called in yet.. (Zero hours contract)
