According to the news report, it happened yesterday and was possibly related to local crime gangs ...

It's always worrying to hear about things you have no control over .. Hope your daughter is safe xx

Yes that's what I read too, it's just a shock,when you read it from a member of your family and it's about mafia and retaliation groups... Daughter says its 19 that have been shot..

It's an amazing place I lived there for many years and loved every second.

I have friends still there and from what one have said it's more a retaliation over 'owning' the streets etc.

Sadly over the years the area has been devided to turf war land due to places being sold to wealthy Russians Albanians etc etc.

It's a very corrupt place and some local bar owners in recent years have been forced to pay safety money etc.

Sad to be honest

Yes daughter used to work over there every summer and loves the place, the world is a sad place, corruption everywhere...
