Didn't vote. I find it hard to think that that many people are so disenfranchised by the political animal that they refuse to use their voice

Maybe, whatever it was. I get people finding general elections difficult and the general murmur of 'each as bad as the other' but this was yes or no

The age distribution o the vote was interesting. For those saying a generation is now fucked, it is that generation that had a less than 50% turnout. Message is, get out and vote and participate otherwise you may end up with results you dont like.

Well that's a part of the decision. I just find it hard to grasp that nearly 3 in 10 simply didn't want to have a say in the future of the country

Well over 90% of the people I know and a similar percentage of the people they know all said they would vote one way. Nobody knows who the other voters were. That crossed all ethnic and religious backgrounds. I can only guess it was an age related thing

To not vote is easier, and the unknown of yes or no was huge, I thought. I was in the 'out' camp but could see both having clear positives, wasn't easy and if people weren't sure I can imagine it being just a case of 'what's the point voting then' kind of attitude, sadly.

Yesterday as I was shopping I overheard a lady saying "I couldn't care less, what does it matter" I find that attitude scarier than any unknown economic factor
