Leave had the lead from the get go.

They were the first to get to the 1,000,000 votes mark.

I know it is early to say, and that the larger metropolitan areas and large city areas haven't chipped in yet with the greater student and graduate populations who are more likely to vote remain - but I do think this will be the trend for the night and the result of the referendum.

A minor leave lead and ultimately vote.

Going to bed soon, so I'll be waking up in a few hours to see whether I'll be relieved or dissapointed at the vote result.

At least the majority of Britain got involved with the voting for once though. Maybe in the years to come we'll see greater public involvement.
