If you came home and someone had decided to surprise you by completely redecorating your house, would you kiss them or kick them?

Whilst Id enjoy someone else doing all the work Id hate to have someone else decide what my personal space is going to look like...

I like my house as it is thanks. What if they did it and you hated it.

Reminds me of that episode of changing rooms where one couple absolutely hated the room and made it very clear what they thought.

when my ex left me after 32 years i disappeared off to spain to freinds for a few weeks ...while i was away my daughter son in law and all their friends gave my bedroom a changing rooms makeover cos it hadnt been decorated for 17 years ,,,,its was FANTASTIC and such a lovely surprise ,,,i cried ....lots .....was all very neutral allowing me to add my own personal touches when i got back ..love my kids !!

Thats lovely but as you say it was neautral. There is nothing neautral about what they do on make over programmes lol
