what to do on a social

I recently had a social and I never tried to make a move just had a good funny chat. So should I of tried to kiss her or is a social just for chat.

P.s she said she wished I had kissed her and more.

So confused. ..lol. ..

I think it depends on the person. For me a social is just that a social, a chat, a drink, a meal, or whatever is decided. However some may want things to progress further if all is going well

For me

A social is the foundation

If the social goes well

End it with a meaningful kiss

Eye contact when you say good night

Everything else should fall into place

If in doubt .. opt for caution is my advice - unless you're feeling brave enough to ask directly. If you like each other you can always meet again and move things on

I've had socials that have just been a nice drink, natter and nothing else and others that started with a drink and nibble to eat and ended with 45 minutes of snogging like hormonal teenagers.

There's no right or wrong answer I think.

For us it's usually a drink/coffee/lunch and no play usually. A cheeky stocking flash at the end on occasion. There's no hard and fast rules really. Sometimes less is more though and sounds like she's happy to meet again so it was a success wasn't it?

Have had a very good social with a couple of ladies on here. We chatted for a couple of hours and went our separate ways. It's hard to gauge how these things will go but if you go with only a coffee or drink in mind , you won't be dissapointed. If anything else evolves just go with the flow.

it still doesn't mean that it is becoming a dating site!! its just a lot of people, and women in particular, prefer to give someone the once over before we jump into bed with them...and if we don't like the look of them then we can walk away...

In my humble opinion, Always stay with what you feel is right, don't change who you are.

Eye contact, watch body language, not forgetting the kiss good bye doesn't have to be on the lips, you could always ask for another

If you feel it was a good social let them know as soon as you can.

It's very difficult - I go on socials to make sure we both fancy each other, but sometimes I then go on to meet someone and the kissing is really not to my taste and I wish I'd managed to kiss on the social!! But it rarely feels right to me to do so - snogging in a pub carpark feels too cheap to me!!

If you meet someone at a social and the "chemistry" is there, then you should swap numbers and arrange another more intimate social where you can get to know each other and maybe show off your tactile side.

Having had a few socials lately, a polite kiss on the cheek at the end is how I end it, you usually know before then if there's a connection though, but always play it safe, it's a social after all, never expect anything more.

When meeting randoms off the internet I prefer to meet in a public place for a social meet to establish that we're both/all who we say we are and that we're happy to take things further.

Imho a social meet in a coffee shop is not the place to get handsy or full on snogging. So I prefer guys who wait till we're in a private space before getting frisky. Saying it would have been nice is not the same as saying "oh yeah, pounce on me in a cafe"...
