what are the best bars & clubs for a night out in Birmingham?

Depends what you're into but the Arcadian Centre is pretty cool and there are several decent places so you can go where suits best. You've then got Digbeth about 10 mins walk away with all the Irish bars. I'd avoid Broad St if I were you, too many kids and students. Unless that's your thing of course

Well i was going to suggest broad street, but then im only 46 lol. Had some brilliant nights out there and they cater for all.

I think the best night out in Birmingham is about 170 miles north east... popularly called Newcastle..... dunno how much a cab costs

i still love a few bars down there but if i want to sit down chill its the mailbox every time

I expect nothing less everyone loves their home town xx I work in Sutton Coldfield a lot so go into Brum regularly. Its very different to what Im used to.

same here im from notts and when i moved to brum its just does not compare two differnt worlds on a fri/sat night in notts you never get in to any pub it rocks but brum just cant touch it a here the same about newcastle

I love newcastle its night life is better than birmingham's but i love my reggae and rnb so city centre doesn't have much going on for me in birmingham

Brindley Place on the canal is nice, especially in the summer. Some good restaurants around there such as the pie and mash place and around the worol in 80 dishes for an all you can eat buffet.

Like anywhere, Broad St has it's highs and lows but worth a look.

There was a singers pub there too called The Backroom. They were on here but not seen them in a while

mmm taking a group of vanilla friends to a swinging club lol was up in forecastle for Halloween which is a wicked night out just bloody freezin yep I'm a southern softy! notts is just next to derby so go there lots. where are the places to avoid in brum?

how much time have you got? lol seriously if you go up broad street try not to be there after 3 in the morning, the mood really changes its not good
