There are the obvious smells I like, like cut grass and lemon, but I think the oddest smell I like is a cleaning product called Zep40.

Every Christmas we would have a huge party at my house and before the party my dad would do a major clean of the entire house, with cans of Zep40 being commonly used. So now the smell reminds me of Christmas and my father, oddly enough.

I think it's bold 2 in 1 stuff my mum uses, when I first moved out I intentionally used to leave a jumper or tshirt at my mums so she'd wash it so I'd have something to smell when I got back to mine lol.

Freshly cut grass always reminds me of heady summers back at school.

And certain perfumes are just mmmmm.

It's great how smells can awaken dormant memories and make you feel like you're back there again.

Personally I love the smell of Vanilla.

I love the smell of freshly cut grass, only downside is I suffer from hay fever.

2 stroke motorcycle exhaust always makes me smile, ad it reminds me of the proper motorcycles I used to want like the RG500.

Always liked welding fumes, since I used to help my old man make our front garden fences.

There is a certain air freshner smell that I can now no longer tolerate as it was used in the funeral home where my grampy was laid out, and it was too strong. Every time I smell it I just get reminded of my grampy in the coffin and it makes me sad.

There is a washing powder brand I can't stand as it was strong and when I was pregnant I just couldn't stand the smell, so now avoid it.

I love the smell of petrol, creosote, fresh Tarmac, Sunday roast dinner, my children's hair, and my dog (unless he's wet!).

Love the salty beach smell.

Love the smell of fresh cut grass, but it affects my allergies!

Hate the smell of cigarette smoke.

Hate the smell of flowers in a vase. I love wild flowers, but not cut flowers.

Hate the smell of muck spreading

Hate the smell of hops when you're near a proper brewery (Cardiff used to be filled with it some mornings on way to work, hated it!).

Fish market smell - bleurgh!
