Tough mudder

Well I've been ropped into doing this on Saturday. Is anyone else heading to Dumfries to do it?

Barring the electric hazards (if it has any), you could save lots of money by entering a fell-race

You'll encounter, mud, hills (up & down), fences/walls, mud, water (l do one, that crosses a river several times)

The cost for all this fun?

As low as £1.50, up to about £8

Heck!, in the past l've run heats of national championships (not to win, just for experience of such races), and paid £5!!!

My cousin's pulled out so I've got the ticket for free hence why I'm trying it lol.

Plus it would cost me more to get to glasto than a day ticket lol

Exactly this.....much better experience, fell running is a great way of testing yourself.

For me, these tough mudder things and extortionatley over priced marketing events ...

Toy Town

Tough mudder is a less of a challenge and more a marketing cash camel. You can walk the whole course and miss obstacles if you so wish but you still get to say you've completed the course. Try winter tough guy. That's a challenge. Try the Long Mynd hike 50miles in 24hours or less. Fell running is a hell of an addiction and more about the challenge and less of a financial gain for the organisers.

Good luck though. Time yourself too as its not a timed event, gives a little more of a challenge to push for
