having watched c4 news debate on the referendum and hearing answeres/reasons for voting that are totally illogical like: " I employ a Spanish person and a scotish person and the spanish persion is allways sleeping." "I want England to stay in the euros" " I don't think EU did enough to save ship building" "I just came back from holiday in spain it was lovely so I am voting in.

this i know is a wild serlection c4news did but there are some people I think really that's your logic do you even know the facts on both arguments.

my questions is are people really well informed enough about tge eu debate to give a well rounded answer based on logic or is the matter too complexed?

I think both sides have done a piss poor job of offering real facts to the voters.

It's an issue that invites emotional voting and emotions are going to decide it in the end, one way or another.

Courtney, are you able to vote or not?

Nope. I can't vote at all here. Although this is something I don't think I should be able to vote on in any case.

Vote with your heart I've decided. And I'm not telling anyone what I choose.

I think that people are very confused about the best way to vote and when it comes to the crunch, they will stay away in droves

Central

I don't think that we should make anything other than a rational analysis and decision upon it.

Letting it be an emotional choice is ridiculous.

I agree with you, normatively speaking. But the actuality? Nah.

on the road to nowhere in particular

I agree that both campaigns have been crap, practically all the spokespersons for both sides have been irritating and useless. Far too many people are basing their decision on whether or not they like or dislike the personality and not concentrating on the issues.

Whatever the vote, nothing will change overnight. If it's a vote to leave, any changes will be years away.

people will head back home the same as always, kids still screaming, the DIY still unfinished, the dogs need walking like any other but they will be wondering how will this result effect them.

There wasnt a politician in this country before the referendum who could tell you the price of a pint of milk. Yet they all used figures to state their case. Logic has nothing to do with it, in math 2 + 2 doesnt always = 4 so how can any of them be certain of anything

I can't believe how bitter some of the remain politicians have become. Showing their true colours as bitter and twisted individuals that can't accept the democratic process when it doesn't go their way.

Come to the lab where I work, where 25 post-grads who have just got their first proper career have been old that our research budget is now likely to decrease in the coming year and on wards, and that there is a real possibility of some of us being told to take redundancy in the next 6-18 months unless parliament pledges funding and investment.

I imagine a lot of pro-leave mps would be crying 'it was rigged' if the she was on the other foot.

Of course they would, just as some leave voters would have got nasty and bitchy if the outcome had been to remain.
