"What were your views on Scotland's referendum?"
sabotaged by CaMoron who weasled out of his deal if scotland voted to stay.

I'm all for breaking up the Union of it's what everyone wants.

It's hard, for people who don't fully understand the workings of government and politics, to make proper decisions though with all the hype and spin that comes parcelled with anything these days.

But i think scotland was lucky.. Due to the oil price fall! In addition to being rejected by joining the euro.

Sturgeon is in the strange predicament of wanting Scotland to strongly vote stay but England to vote leave.

I'm not a Brexiter but I really wanted Scotland to vote for independence and it's hilarious to watch the right wing talk of the use of fear during this referendum when they were happy to unyieldingly pelt fear at Scotland.

I'm voting Brexit. Would have been happy for the Scots to have left.

What happens if we vote to leave the EU. The Scots wanted to stay in the EU, would the get another referendum to leave the UK but stay in EU?

"What were your views on Scotland's referendum?"
It is difficult to see how Scotland could ever be financially independent . Some people live in dreamland .

When it came tout voting , deep down people knew that Scottish independence was a non starter .

I know it has only been 30 mins since I asked, but does anyone not see any links to what was said by the Better Together campaign and Brexiters, and if so, do you realise just how quickly they exposed themselves as liars? It was the morning of the result. Do you honestly think you can trust the Brexit campaign?

Would have loved Scotland to go away. With their free prescriptions and uni fees.

David Cameron and George Osborne were part of the better together campaign, Gordon Brown, Nick Clegg, Ed Miliband, the better together campaign in the Scottish referendum looks more like the Stronger in campaign in this EU referendum to me.

I just find Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP position in this EU referendum really bizarre. They want Scotland to be a free and independent country, but they want to stay in the EU to be over ruled by Brussels????

Completely bonkers.

1 - Scotland needs access to the single market.

2 - It really needs young immigrants to mitigate against it's ageing population.

What's so difficult to understand?

They don't want to be over ruled by Westminster, the UK with a population of 65 million, but they want to be over ruled by Brussels, the EU with a population of 500 million?

As ex deputy leader of the SNP Jim Sillars said when he joined the leave campaign, the official SNP stance in this EU referendum is contradictory, and Nicola Sturgeon, Alex Salmond and Co seem to be living in an alternate version of reality.

They might not see EU directives as being wholly bad. I know that's a strange concept for you to understand.

Finland, Denmark, Ireland, countries with similar populations to Scotland work within the EU framework.
