People who can't accept they're wrong

I swear nothing annoys me more on a daily basis. I know several people who can have all the evidence in the world that they are wrong in front of them, but will still go away claiming they're right.

Does anyone else get incredibly wound up in these scenarios?

Actually this post had nothing to with the referndum considering I think both sides are guilty of it.

And considering I plan on voting to remain anyway.....

Nah I'm the opposite I'll happily admit I'm wrong even if I think I'm not, I'm all for a quiet life and if letting other person thinks they are right stops them going on about something I'll back down and say I'm wrong

Reminds me of the Brian Clough interview where he was asked what happens when a player tells him he is wrong. We sit down he said, go through all the reasons why he thinks I'm wrong and after about 20 mins we agree I was right all along

It really does not bother me being wrong, nobody knows everything, even those who think they do, being wrong involves learning and we are all learning throughout our life'e

There's no shame in being wrong about something

Was wound up in trying to help someone who buried their head firmly in the sand. It started to really get to me as I was genuinely concerned for them and it was making me sad that they wouldn't listen.

Gave up and reminded myself that they were big enough and old enough etc and felt much relieved and refreshed for doing so.

Often remind myself "Not my circus. Not my monkeys".

Your right, you can stress yourself out.

They'll probably tell you in a while that they agreed with you and it was always their idea. They'll twist it to suite them.

Yeah exactly, it's important to appreciate the context of stuff too. Sometimes disagreement is the correct thing to do too.
