As a Blade top respect to Speed, we loved him. As an England fan think Roy scored an own goal, don't change a winning team , we missed the width and the power that Rose and Man of the tournament so far in Walker, Henderson poor, Varsy missing all match except when he popped up for his chance, Clyde looked nervous, Wiltshire showed his all of match action all year, poor control, poor passing, never got forward. Why don't we play like we do in the premiership instead of trying to play the "European" pass pass pass pass and another 1000 passes before we get behind their first line of defense. No one will fear playing us, they know what they will get, we are so predictable

not far from iceland,,,,,, tescos is nearer though :-) (near leeds)

Well done Wales.. great performance.. England could learn from Wales granted their first team picks itself , however I'm still uncertain if 'woy' knows his best team, it seems that most nations have their first choice teams and barring injuries and suspension s they stick with them.. England chop and change players and systems, pick your best team woy and stick with them.

The Tantric Tea Shop

Gary Speed still very well thought of up here....

As for England, I would play the next game with 9 (two legged) players...

Kane up front wearing Sooty and Sweep hand puppets (11 players now!)..

Then...maybe....he could do a Maradonna hand of god! Sweep scoring the winner in the next game!

If Sooty and Sweep were named in the squad I am unaware of any regulations preventing this!!

Best ive ever seen Wales play tonight. Not only have topped group B, as a team we've also scored more goals than any one else.

Taff, did your hairs stand up whilst the anthem was being sung?

West Wales and Cardiff

I remember Joe Jordan's handball when a ltttle kid.

I remember hating the Scots in 86, then learning Jock Stein had died.

I was at Wales v Romania in1993. I remember the desolation after and then learning that rocket that was fired into the stand I was on killed someone.

I was at Wales v Russia in 2003.

I remember learning the Speedo had died and walking into the best pub for sport in Cardiff and grown men crying everywhere.

Absolutely over the moon tonight

Fair play buddy, I don't think anyone in England have anything but positive things to say about the Welsh team, and we all congratulate the Welsh boys on their performances so far.

Yeah, the England fans have been great to be fair. They've had plenty of disappointments too, so I think they just "get it".
