Well, £1.47 in my pocket is still ... £1.47."

But it buys more if you're importing ..and since brexiters point out we import more than we export .. Its good news for the UK ..

It buys the importer of potatoes and chip oil more which means either more profit or lower prices if it continues on the up ..the post was posted as information just to show that even the polls can have an affect on exchange rates let alone a vote ....

What do you mean "for a change". The month of May 2016 with the fall in the pound saw the best month for exporters since the year 2003. You say a higher pound helps importers, but a lower pound helps exporters so it's swings and roundabouts really.
