Who would in all honesty post a bad verification on here if it was the truth about the meet you just had ? If it was from a meet and they were telling the truth?

I don't think I would write a 'bad' veri. I would either not write a veri at all or if I did it would be more of a showed up had a nice personality / smelt lovely sort of thing.

Don't forget just because it was bad for you, it might be great for someone else so it's all very subjective and individual

Have to admit like many, I take them with a pinch of salt. I prefer to make me own mind up about someone anyway.

Ive only ever had the need to leave one bad one but wasn't verified at the time. And to be honest if I had been able I don't think I would anyway.

A site we used to be on had a different style of verification system.

You have to invite a profile to a meet which they can accept or decline. Obviously you then meet up and can leave either negative or positive feedback. It wasn't just like fabs where you wrote the whole thing, you could leave a plus or a minus.

People on fab seem really scared that this could be abused and it fully well could be. But it worked perfectly fine on that site.

2. If you did write them a bad veri, why would they publish it?

I left a veri for someone who came to my social and thanking them for attending. I was then asked my the chap to remove it as it didn't say anything positive about him...... ohhhhhhh the temptation was so strong to re-veri him with what I really wanted to put. xxx

I've had an "iffy" meet before on an old profile, and they left me a gushing - not literally! - verification, whereas I left them quite a boring, dull verification. So no, if the meet was horrendous I wouldn't bother to verify them, but if it was just a bit naff, I'd still verify them but I wouldn't leave a sparkling amazing verification for them.
