Did anyone else notice the size and brightness of the moon in the wee sma' hours earlier today?

Apparently it's now the biggest it's been for nearly 30 years.

It is a beautiful site.. the park outside my front was bathed beautifully in moonlight..

I read on Yahoo that it was 19 yrs it said something about iyt being an optical illusion

Its closer.. and is affecting the earth a little at the moment due to the changes in gravitational effects.. Spring tide will be higher etc.

Massive spring tides at the moment, hence the Full moon, tide went out miles today, perfect to have a play with your metal detector, if your that way inclined!
