So my neighbor kindly gave me the password for their wifi, the connection I'm using right now. The question being is he able to see what sites I'm visiting

Whilst I am no computer expert, I am aware that some people are and I would be quite suspect if someone offered me something for free, especially if it meant letting them have remote access to my computer. Think about what you have on there, bank log in details? I wouldn't personally worry about him seeing what sites like this that I access, but I would be concerned about photos and other personal info. Only my take on it.

From a purely technical point of view, yes it "is possible" that he can see which sites you visit. Chances are, unless he's technical sort he wouldn't even think about it. Also as fab is a secure site, he wouldn't see the content only the name of the site... (without some proper technical intervention).
