"What you describe OP has been pretty much part & parcel of life for me since I moved into this block of flats about 3 yrs ago. It's a Salvation Army Housing Association place, but getting them to do anything about it is beyond futile at times. Luckily for me the smackhead & his missus that lived directly below me have finally moved out. It's nice to have peace, calm & tranquility back in my life of an evening instead of endless rows, door slamming and random druggies wandering into the yard and yelling up at his window to score, then throwing things at it as well when he didn't answer. "Bad move, this could have ended up going so sideways! I worked in security, and druggies are the worst to deal with. Either she was off her face and didn't know what or where she was... end result she could have attacked you, or she was looking to steal something to fund her habit, and could have attacked you! Even just getting scratched or bitten could have meant blood tests and weeks of worry waiting for results... do not put yourself at risk again! "Yes I'm kicking myself for opening the door. And I'm so relived that she left without any trouble as soon as I did it I though what a fuckin silly thing to do but I had my daughter staying the nite and my mummy instinct kicked in.
