Try reviveaphone if rice doesn't work. Leave it for at least three days undisturbed.

As suggested, but make sure you have taken the battery out and removed as many covers as you can.

Yep, I put mine in rice & in airing cupboard having taken the back off & battery out. I left mine for a week/10 days before daring to look, but dusted it off, reassembled & still working

May depend on how long it was in water for as well.
