Pistachio nuts !!

I love 'em and one of my fave sat night treats is a pack of salted pistachios and a glass of beer..but for the last 10 months you just cannot buy them !!

just wondered why ?

Look where they are grown. Bit difficult to cultivate and gather nuts where there are ongoing civil wars.

Most Pistachio nuts come from Iran and the United States, the ones I buy in 3kg bags come from the States.

well my local tesco has certainly stopped selling them and the garage and local spar stopped selling them too..there the only nuts i like and i dont enjoy a beer without them

must try further afield or up market as suggested !
