Feel very sorry for gorilla not being given the opportunity to be a proper gorilla.

But it was different time and place when they took her into captivity.

Me too.

I found it very sad that Koko wanted a baby; that she craves new contacts; that by raising her with just humans her experiences were narrowed. Although they would be narrowed anyway by being a zoo animal.

Still remarkable.

I thought about that and decided she just really wanted to interact with more people. Over 40 years with the same narrow group of people must be a little boring.

That's what I said. She didn't seem interested in her potential partner. She wanted the man. Must be very confusing for her

She is well loved by Penny but Penny has kept her a 'human' child and she has never become a gorilla adult.

She does appear to have really good manners though.
