Who remembers as a kid, running to the back of the 1 tonne Tv when there was a thunder storm and desperately trying to unscrew the aerial lead from the back before lightning reduced the house to burnt ash??

Yes, my mother always turned the telly off when it thundered! Hubby shouted at me the other dayt was chucking it down and thundering and lightning too. Then I noticed one of our clothes props was leaning over so the washing line was sagging. I hate that so I dashed out to straighten said prop. As I grabbed the (metal) prop, hubby banged on the window and told me to put the bloody thing down and get back in. Doh!

I absolutely love thunder and lightening. I'd probably feel differently about it if I ever got struck. Lol
