An valid question, as asthma kills.

-Yes, you stop. Of course you do.

-Let her get into whichever position is comfy for her.

-Make sure she can use her inhalers. The blue one (Ventolin) is the one you need. Usually 6-8 puffs needed.

-Give her time to recover.

-If she does not appear to improve, she may need to go to A&E. You should call an ambulance.

Ask someone if they have their inhaler - can you help them to get it.

Give them some space. Follow their guidance.

If it's not controlled, be prepared to call for emergency help and don't leave someone in potential danger.

Don't post their information in threads that could help them feel uncomfortable.

What do you do? Get off fab and ask her! She is the one with the condition so should know what to do, unless it's really bad she will be fine. The main barrier to carrying on will be your reaction
