Why do you 'swing'? I realise that people are here and meet others for the sex, but what beyond that do you get out of it, what motivates you to meet others and to continue?

That's why I used the 'swing'

However, names and terms are fluid, you're a member of a swinging site, even in its loosest term that makes you a swinger, but I don't want to get into semantics

Fair enough point.

I do this because I'm not in a relationship but still want a sex life and there's things I'd like to try sexually and experiences which I couldn't realistically do elsewhere.

I believe that life is for living and whilst I have the opportunity to try something it makes sense to.

To be honest with you I have never really considered my self to be a swinger...... I am just a single lad on here for some good gut wrenching NSA sex with like minded females...... This is now my 3rd profile on here in the last 6yrs..... When I get into a relationship off line with a woman then I delete my profile as I think it only fair to start off a new relationship all fair and square and a complete fresh start..... Plus I am not a twat like that and never cheat if I am with some one, so the profile goes.......... I did meet a girl on here a few years ago and we both deleted our profiles and decided to give it a go at a full time relationship. Was ok for a couple of years but then it went tits up and I was single again and back on here with a new profile......... This site works ok for me as a single lad if I am honest as I am on here to make friends with a couple of regular females for frendship, banter, good one to one personal contact and conversation and a blimmin good regular sessions of gut wrenching NSA sex with tons and tons of passionate snoggin and hmmmmmmmm I best behave or I will get horny, haha

A lot of people do it for the social aspect of things too I think, but I find the deeper motivation interesting too

The social aspect, getting to know lots of happy, open people. Swinging allows us both to experience and indulge in our bi sides which a monogamous relationship wouldn't, we both love group sex so swinging is an obvious choice

To have the option of a sex life that provides me with an diminished amount guilt and self doubt as to whether denying on-going needs would be an acceptable scenario owing to extenuating circumstance that created my dilemma ......

I get people say they bi or straight or tv/ts or what ever to help them find suitable sex partners.

But those it really matter. Just have fun. Meet people. Socialise.

On paper the whole ethos behind swinging suits me totally. The openness and the sexual freedom of it all is right up my alley. Though I'd never call myself a swinger at all, I guess I just like the idea of the fun and the socialising without the waffle and nonsense that you get in regular relationships.

What motivates me to continue? Well, it turns out this has been more of a journey of self-discovery for me. I realised that very early on. The result of it all is now pretty irrelevant. It turns out the path is the destination, the path is the goal. It's given me the ability to be myself for the first time in my life. I'm enjoying the trip and I've made some lovely friends along the way.
