Have you ever been forced to decide on the spur of the moment? Last night I had a table groaning with delicious-looking finger food on one side of me and a gorgeous lady in white lingerie with her arse in the air on the other. I admit I did toy with the idea of a bite-sized pork pie, with some spicy chutney, but am happy to relate I resisted until round one was well and truly over. Has anyone else been, albeit fleetingly, torn? I am so glad I did right in this instance but it was a close run thing.

Leave the food well alone, there is no second thoughts, resisting required. The lady takes the biscuits, I mean all of my focus

I was, very. A very lucky boy indeed. But my inner man demanded sustenance. I was late, bloody M4! My mojo man soon over-ruled! I did gratify both appetites in due course. There must be an etiquette about these things.

Yes, of course, and exactly what transpired that night. My dilemma was very much of the moment, not wanting to appear rude by stuffing my face with food when the lady clearly was eager for my 'sausage'. Eating in moderation after round one is a good choice. I once took a lady out to dinner in my hotel, and we massively over-indulged in food and wine, so no shenanigans that night as we were incapable. The next morning was good though.
