Why do some garages bull shit you over the initial phone call?

Your veichle is booked in for 9am they said, shouldn't take more than an hour to MOT it whilst you wait.......... Hmmmm well it is still sat outside yet in the feckin rain at almost 10am and I am well bored yet and not even got to my first job of the week........ I wonder what time it is booked into be up on the ramp for for it's MOT inspection

Things happen in the real world, my ramp blew a fuse once with a customer's car on it during an mot.

So took longer than an hour to get sorted.

Why not ask them?
