Ok im taking a break. Hence no profile.

In two weeks I've had four guys cancel. Two guys just didn't bother to msg after setting up a meet, another got called into work, another was poorly (cancelled an hour before)

I wouldn't be bothered but it takes a lot out of my schedule and trust etc, to meet and I'm down about it!

Has this happened to anyone, what did you do and how long of a break did you take?, if you did?

It happened to me twice in the space of about 3 weeks recently. At the time I was fuming but I just blocked and reported them. I didn't take a break but I was much more wary after that!!!!

Oh i know it happens, esp to guys. I just wonder if the fact its made me a bit fragile means I'm cut out for this..

Sometimes your frame of mind at the time can make it worse at the time - chin up op, it's their loss and plenty more will happily take up your time when you are ready xx

I'm very picky. Chat to guys for ages before mtg. One of them let down id chatted to since Nov last year ( I was here previously). But he went into work on his day off?! No msg to say sorry or excuses!. I know people lives get in the way but it takes a 'lot' for me to meet. Don't know how else to be selective?..

Granted 4 is a lot and I'm not surprised you feel like you do. I kind of say to myself that they might not turn up right up until I'm actually there!! If you don't mind me asking were these social meets? Mine were club/weekend away meets so the sting was quite bad!!

Give me some ideas lol. I talk to most for ages, socially meet first . I'm very picky and meet guys who have good veris and personality.

Maybe meet at a club cus then if the guys don't turn up or aren't much good you still have the club to enjoy.

There's no harm stepping back and gathering yourself for a while, if I feel my 'thick skin' is slipping, I wander off for a few weeks. You have to be in a certain frame of mind to get the most out of this, if its not fun, don't do it.

A break sounds like a very sensible decision. I find when I'm getting meets or fabs, etc, Fab can do wonders for my confidence. The flip side of that is that a run of no-shows and rejections can sometimes bruise the ego a little.

Take a week or two off, get out, do something more interesting, then come back refreshed and reinvigorated. Just make sure you do come back, because I really like looking at your bum!

Straight away as in maybes a few days of talking. It depends on how long u get to talk to them and feel i trust them. One guy I was mtg had met a friend of mine, so I felt I could trust him more. In comparison to a guy who has only one veri and not on here often. Each guy and meet is different.

I know that's life and its not about that. It's about me feeling deflated, because its happened four times in a short period.I understand things get in the way but these guys didn't even bother messaging me to say sorry and cancel. ( well one did an hr before). I don't get a lot of time to meet, and I usually have to change a while days schedule to meet.

The dick head guys that I'm hearing more and more about that are fucking it up for the genuine ones should have profiles deleted
