Car mechanic query

I have got the rear drums off my car to replace the shoes.. (did it as quietly ad poss to avoid waking the neighbours) Zhould i replace tbe cylinders as a precaution? They look ok but they are 12 years ol

If they aren't leaking no. Simple rules of thumb if it's not broken don't fix it

It's always a good idea to take a pic on your phone before you start to. Will be a God send when trying to remember what spring go's where when refitting

Good idea about getting a pic before doing anything. Those springs can fly anywhere too.

as above although have a good check of the seals
