Why is it you send someone a message and they just delete it and not even look at your profile? Is it just me or are there a lot of ignorant people on here!

patience is the key. A good profile pic will help. But get use to people not replying. Cos thats just part of it here.

No they are not ignorant, you are obviously not what they are looking for or you didnt read their profile first before you sent the message.

As the ratio of single males vs single women is so high and apparently we get 100 messages per day, we can pick and choose and dont have the time to read all of them.

And often if you reply to a message to say that you are not interested/not my type, one gets abusive messages back, or they try their luck as they are desperate for a shag

or... you could spin it round and suggest that people who start these types of threads have "rejection" issues....

so....why is it ignorant? that is an honest question...

think of it this way.... do you reply to every piece of "junk mail" that you recieve in your letter box... or do you just chuck it away?

if people have a preference and you are not it, then you are not it...... simple as that.....

You obviously did not blow them away with your message.

Just be patient. It will happen. Some people just not interested and will delete but its all part of the site and how it works.

To be fair they may have looked at your profile .... You can opt out of showing on the 'who's looked at your profile list' so no way of knowing that.

I am not an ignorant person... usually!

But I use ignorance when our message filters are off quite a lot because we get mail from people we are not interested in. It is easy for some of us to make our minds up without evening opening some messages as the title, sex of the person plus age is shown on the 'envelope'.... no need to read, no need to look at the senders profile either.

The sender has usually shown that they are ignorant first. We ask for a certain title to their message to prove they have at least looked at more than the pictures (title is usually missing) or they are out of age range, our preferences are made perfectly clear on our profile.

We don't open junk mail that comes through our letter box, spam/junk emails in our inboxes nor bother with opening text messages that come from companies wishing for us to spend money on tat. Do you?

I have to admit that ive deleted a message without reading it all or looking at the profike. If i can see from the avatar that they are not what im looking for or if the first couple of words in the message dont appeal to me, ie great tits luv wanna fuck, i just delete, trust me I just know they're not my type. I expect the same things happens to my messages.

Just in respect to deleting messages without reading them. Only read them if i see its someone messaging about a post from the forum or if its a forum user that im familiar with.

Be thankful they even read it, as some ladies leave messages unopened, lol... like loads of peeps have said, patience is the key, and maybe your profile didnt appeal.... you cant please all the people, all the time

i get loads of mail every day, i logged on this morning and had 32 waiting for me, while ive been logged on another 12 have come thro, if i go in the chat room and put cam on i can easily get 50+ messages, do you really think im going to sit and read and reply to all them? not a cat in hells lol

I have on my profile what im after if someone mails me who does not fit what im looking for i do not realy, if they cant be arsed to read my profile or respect what im after why should i reply to them?

I dont usually reply to messages with no picss either, simply because its just to time consuming to reply to lots of mail with no pics only to find out after a few messages you dont like them after all, thats ok if its only 1 person but if your doing it with 20+ people every day it just takes up to much time for nothing

If its a message from a guy who is within what i have stated im looking for and has sent a pic i always reply, even if its a no thanks

I just do not have the time to sit and read and reply to every single message i get, if i did it would be all i ever did on here and wouldnt have time to do aniothing else

Because some people are not real and make up profiles ... no pics no feed-back and some do this to play there games at getting to people. And this site do not stand for it and others dont its hard i know whos real . I only wish to chat to people with pics and feed-back myself as been played by some over the years here and other paying sites too... you live and learn ... and i know there must be some who are ok with out feed-back and pics and still new and learning how things work on here ..

Sure its not ignorance, some cpls and ladies must get loads of messages from people that don't interest them. I am also sure that alot people don't read profiles before firing off a message too. At the end of the day it part of the way these sites work, get used to it. If they don't reply move on and don't worry about it, chill out. It's the idiots who have made it this way.

Think the ignorant ones are the ones that EXPECT a reply rather than see it a bonus, these are probably the same people who moan themselves about cold callers and junk mail being posted through their letterboxes

Anyone who moans about not getting replies from total strangers on the Internet or even worse, lets it get to them, really do come across as sad and desperate people

Ok guys, lets be realistic. How many messages do you get a day/week. My messages have gone right down since i changed my filters but its usually around 10 aday. Out those 10 maybe 6 havent read my profile.

Then you have all the messages i send and recieve from friends that i do answer. So some days i can be sending 50+ messages a day. Why would i send a message to someone who either hasnt read my profile or doesnt attract me.

Lots of women get 50 plus messages aday from guys.

Oh and those 10 dont include the ones that send messages when the pub closes those dont even get opened

if i am lucky enough i get about 10 from a friend thats about it most mail sent is newbies an 60% of the users i sent to are in my age range etc single (yes i do READ all profiles)

glad I don't have email alerts sent when I have messages....and rarely on when pubs closedastoomany d*unk wankers ( sorry for word lol ) that think I will get them off......shame they can't do it when sober
