an ex comes into your life and ur stomach and heart flip. Even though you know that you did the right thing walking away.

Feel nervous sick and trying not to cave in.

That exact thing has just happened to me, very long story spanning 15 years but long story short, we went our separate ways 15 years ago after a short fling while I was with my now ex wife, the wife was my girlfriend at the time tho, we both married different people, both split up within two weeks of each other 12 years later and came back together and supported each other through bad times, she fell in love with me, I didn't reciprocate because I didn't want my ex wife to find out I was with the girl I had the fling with, she walked away because I didn't give her what she deserved and as soon as she did I realised I'm in love with her but it's too late. Life's such a bitch, I'd marry her tomorrow if I could but I've blown it for no good reason.

He had aspergers - which made life so difficult (not his fault) but it nearly broke me mentally.

Im a great believer in if it was right it would have worked. But it didnt so it wasnt. A hard lesson but a true one x

Am sure alot can relate. I know I can. Ex was the best sex I ever had.. sometimes the forbidden fruit in life can be the best.. but deadly.

Although I knew she was not good for me.. all she had to do was smile and I was putty in her hands. Have learnt and got harder to break free from this destructive cycle.

Yeah maybe, the only reason it didn't work was because I was too worried about upsetting the ex wife than I was about making the old flame happy, it was pathetic when I think about it but I've only got myself to blame. Other than that we were perfect together. It's hard to believe date would bring us back together 12 years later for nothing tho.

our son has this so totally get the mental breakdown side, it's hard enough dealing with him as a child, does scare us as parents if he will ever truely know real love from someone else although I can tell you u will never have a more loyal person in your life can u not be friends xxx

I'm lucky, I'm good friends with my ex.

We go out for the occasional meal or drink together.

I tell him about Fab and going to Kestrels.

There is just no sexual attraction there anymore

Unfortunately he had no loyality - it was the other way round. If anyone contacted him they became his priority and he would forget all about me - stand me up, walk out of dates - completely oblivious that this would hurt or upset me.
