Webcam Recommendations - which one?

Hello folks,

After a spontaneous, and very sexy webcam session on here last night, we're thinking of investing in a proper webcam, rather than using the integrated one on my laptop. There seem to be so many different ones out there, that we have no idea what to go for! I it worth spending a bit more money and investing in a named brand one, or are the cheaper ones just as good.

Any advice and recommendations you can give us would be much appreciated.

Gosport

As a periodic cammer I have been through a few over the years. For me at least autofocus is really useful but having the option in the software to manually focus can still important.

If I need to replace my current one I would also be more selective than I was last time about mounting options and probably exclude the ones without a tripod bush.

Regarding makes of cam I am much happier with my Logitech one than any of the others but the software could be better. It is not so much that there is anything really bad about the software but I do quiet regularly think this feels cheaply put together.
