Absolutely love horror movies.

Nightmare on Elm St series, especially no 4, Dream Warriors.

Love Stephen King horrors, The Shining, Carrie - original not shite remake, It, Pet Sematary,

The Exorcism of Emily Rose is good.

I like a good psychological horror.

Most low budget horrors are thinly veiled soft porn. Not that I have a problem with that...

I've never seen a horror that actually scares me...I just can't relate to what I know is fictional. That said, Psycho, The Shining and Scanners were good films.

The Tantric Tea Shop

Forget the name, but saw a film in the early 80's....dogs abandoned on an island, attacking people....walking home with mates, I lived farthest away. got to my front door, late at night and a really, really thick fog....

Two dogs came running, barking and snarling towards me through fog...

I NEARLY SHAT! MYSELF

The Tantric Tea Shop

Saw a programme back in the 70's...

A bloke lived alone in an old mansion. on the stairs was a picture of the garden and a graveyard..

Each night the picture changed..

Soil was disturbed at a grave...

Next night, coffin lid was open

Next a hand reaching out of coffin

Next an old guy climbing out of coffin, each the time the poor guy getting more and more freked out

Next night, old bloke walking towards mansion and so on.....

Nights go on, old bloke getting closer until the final scenes 'knock on the door

Feck feck feck...scary!!

There is a lot of mileage in the Warrens for films. They have a long history of 'ghost busting'. I just don't like franchises, they inevitably get shitter and more predictable.

"I just saw the Conjuring 2 on Friday and holy shit it was good haha, so many jump scares. I'm hoping they're making more movies about the Warrens, could be a decent franchise there.

Also, the Grudge movies on a marathon will guarantee a sleepless night haha"

I've seen an interview with the writers, they mention that they have the rights to over 20 of their cases

More psychological thriller with a few gory bits thrown in, it's worth a watch though

One of the most scariest films I always thought was horrifying is John Carpenters The Thing which had incredible practical effects for its time and a totally different perspective for alien lifeforms seeing as E.T was released the same year.

"I like horror films, but they have to be more psychological than gory."

Watch hellraiser either 5/6/7 I think there are 10 in total but some of them are really quite good at making you think with a mystery involved..

Hellraiser hell world is good and if think it's inferno the other
