"Heeeeellllppp we have a kia sorrento and the prop shaft has been taken off..and we have been quoted £1000 to have it fixed can any of you lovely forumites advise please" What was the reason for taking off the prop?.or was it stolen? Sounds about right for a propshaft, we were quoted £1500 for a Honda CRV. some years ago. | |||

They quoted the price so we left it off but dont use or cant use 4wheel drive . Thx for advise so far guys | |||

Thx for advise so far guys " If they removed the a drive shaft to stop a noise, I suspect that the fault wasn't actually the drive shaft, I would guess that the faulty component would be what the shaft was connecting to ( maybe the rear differential?)
