The pistols got it absolutely right!

It really doesn't seem to make any difference if you cut and paste a message or tailor it to the person/couples profile. If you are a single male the reply ratio is about 1:50 for those of you that don't do statistics that means for every 50 messages a genuine single male like me sends out, he gets 1 reply. How frustrating is that!

It takes ten seconds to type "Thanks but no thanks" so why can people not do that? Defeats me!

Have a read- there are that many posts i am sure i would keep you busy for at least a week - sort of the length of time it takes for us single girls to plow thru all our mail - and half as long if we tried to reply to them all.

you could do with adding a bit more to your profile too mrNicko...we all need to stand out from the 100's of others like us on here. And a targeted scattergun, with people you've really looked for compatability with along side a message which reflects that may increase your reply rate - even if it still is a thanks but no thanks. I know i'm not the only one who'll reply to those messages where someones made a real effort to personalise it ...the wanna fucks get deleted

I always put in something relevant and make it fit the profile.

I'm sure there are some serious timewasters out there and some genuine people as well! I know I've met one or two!

It does become frustrating though as I'm sure you'll appreciate

Agree with all who say you must take time to write individual messages. I really enjoy picking through a profile and sending a decent length message just to see if I get a reply and what is said. Of course it isn't always a yes, when can you do me, but I've had a couple reply and say excellent message and also thanks made me smile. I haven't met these people but we send messages back and forth and well, thats a start.

I never, ever, in 2 yrs on here and the other site to this have copied and pasted (carpet-bombed it's known as when you send same paste to like 30 peeps).

Send and obv individual msg about what you saw in the pics or profile that you liked and you'll stand out.. then they simply look at your profile, judge from that to reply, and bingo, even basic convo starts.. oh and get feedback.. sorry verifications on here lol... my feedback on the doggin site (same company) is tonnnns from pals in chat.. males fems couples... it goes a good way to a response to you even just being "nice to chat to on cam, makes us laugh" etc.

Have you considered the line “using blindfolds ropes and gags” may actually frighten many people off. The establishment of trust is your first contact priority.

Message people and be your self, a few pictures and just be honest as honesty and a politeness can go a long way. Only an observation mind.

As for replies well any contact encourages people so many don’t reply. Just move on and maybe mail again in a month or so but don’t pester as its not a good look.

well i just see the word percentage and i think am back at school again and go rushing for my calculator.

People have a choice if to reply or not. Personally I don’t worry if they don’t as my profile just doesn’t appeal. I do find it strange though that some people get there hair off if you don’t reply. Well you didn’t ask them to message you in the first place. Think the attitude is to smile and exchange messages with people who do like you.

It really doesn't seem to make any difference if you cut and paste a message or tailor it to the person/couples profile. If you are a single male the reply ratio is about 1:50 for those of you that don't do statistics that means for every 50 messages a genuine single male like me sends out, he gets 1 reply. How frustrating is that!

It takes ten seconds to type "Thanks but no thanks" so why can people not do that? Defeats me!

I personally do try to reply to every message, ( except to those who in my profile I have said I won't reply to!, otherwise I'd be replying all day). I feel that if someone had taken the time to send a message to me its only fair and polite to reply even if its just to say 'thanks but no thanks'. And judging by the replies I get to replies, most people don't get any replies at all. If that makes sense!

On a serious note you don’t have to answer them as it’s a choice/time thing. You should never feel pressure to reply to unsolicited mail.

However if you have chatted to someone with a few messages and you decide your not interested any more then I figure a little message explaining is polite.

We check all messages, even those from single guys. And reply to all as long as the following have been met:

1 They fall with-in our age range

2 The message contains more than 10 words

3 The message is not from a TV, Gay guy or bare back rider

After all if you don't want single guys to contact you can block them!

Theres a good point actually that's so frustrating people send you one liners with few words like it's a contest to see who can send least LOL .Got another says wanna fuck you or you get I got 9 inches yeah very good banned .Whats wrong with chatting or sending a decent pm or mail ?.Ok so it's only now and again though I'd say it's mostly woman that give good long ones occasional guy .
