I know it probably snds like a bit random thread.......

In NI this morn, although a bit hazy it'll soon brighten up. My local radio stn 97.4 is playing fantasic music this morning.

What stn do u listen to & what type of music do they play?

I jump between Cool fm 97.4 & Q Radio 96.7 - both chart music.

on the road to nowhere in particular

A couple of local radio stations that play more adult oriented contemporary music. The BBC and LBC when someone else has control of the radio knob

I listen to 5live or radio 2 mostly. During football season i listen to radio Leicester for match commentry on the rare occasions im not at the game and also sport phone in.

I never ever listen to commercial radio.

DAB radio in the car has enhanced the reception for 5live thank goodness but now i need to prise said car off hubby and he can have the older car with ordinary radio lol

I only ever listen to radio 2 ...

Often from 7.30am right through to 7pm .....

The only duff bit is Jezza Vine who is a bit of a prat and talks too much but other than him it's a great station that plays great music

As soon as Vines voice comes on air (shudders of dread) I switch stations!

A world of my own

Forth one in the car usually. I have DAB in the house so it's Magic or Absolute 80s or 90s.

My son is a presenter on 2 local stations so sometimes they go on in the car as well.

Glastonbury

I did try Glastonbury FM once when I was in the bath and couldn't bare any more of Gardener's Question Time. It was an interesting experiment but I think I'll stick to silence next time.

Radio 4 every morning, 4extra for classic comedy in evenings, world service in the dead of night, and Radio 3 in the car (classical keeps me calm, usually, other music makes me drive too fast). Perhaps I should be more adventurous!

62 West Wallaby Street (not real address)

I like capitol in the morning for the "throw back" music bit they do. Tend to switch between that and radio 2 if I'm out and about in the car.
