Have you ever met someone where there was just that instant connection...?? What happened??

We both felt a spark like an electric shock the first time we kissed. 5 years of mental brilliant fun followed.

Met him 3 years ago and are now in a loving long term relationship. It's still as sparky and alive as the day we met

There's a woman in the school playground who drops her kids off when I drop mine and she is the easiest person to talk to that I've ever met. She's gorgeous, intelligent, friendly and fucking married!

Right the guy ive been seeing the longest he was just a random guy at a gangbang. Didnt physically stand out but i was drawn to him.

We have a great time, weve had our monents when ive been ill and he might try it on sometimes.

But we perfectly both know where we stand, we understand each other and he humours me.

Jay there was a connection that i knew i wanted him in my life. After i met him the first time i sort him out but at the time relationship never entered my head.

We spent 6 months working together, everyday was electric, we travelled across a few countries, staying in guesthouses (separate rooms); each evening we would meet for dinner and each morning for breakfast...

We laughed and exchanged all our secrets, but there was never anything physical; we just seemed to "fit" together and people would comment on this; it's difficult to describe but it was like a perpetual summer; and I (we) enjoyed every moment...

One evening, towards the end of my contract, we had been out for a meal and were drinking wine on a porch of a guesthouse high in the mountains, we were sat holding hands and making each other laugh, looking out across a beautiful scene, she looked into my eyes and we kissed for just the longest time.... I don't think I could ever describe that kiss, even if I was made of words....

But the long and the short of it, is she was gay, the kiss was something that happened because of a "moment" and well that's just it... no more.

We are still great friends, I went to her civil ceremony but I will not forget those 6 months or that kiss, I am just fortunate to have experienced such a connection once in my life and it makes me smile to recall it.

So thank you OP for allowing me to indulge a memory..

Gosh, you reminded me of a copywriter I once worked with once while freelancing - days and days of electricity, heady lunches, brief thrilling accidental brushes of the arm, wearing skimpy summer tops without a bra knowing he saw every movement........oooft it was so hot!!

Nothing ever happened, he was attached, and when I invited him and his partner to one of my legendary all night garden parties, out of that 'hothouse' work environment I just suddenly thought..'Eeeew!' and that was that!

Bloody fickle Gemini.....

Your story is so much better.....

This guy once, it was weird we had sex and then it all got weird he was working here for six months so i knew there was no future but we where together

Up all night talking couldnt keep our hands of each other.

This went on for a month

Then i walked down to where he was staying and he had left me a letter saying he couldnt deal with it and the title of a song.and told me to listen to it.

He had jacked his job, packed his bags and gone

Never to be seen or heard of again guess that was a fleeting.connection

Think emotions scare people to the point that they can't deal or don't want to deal with it...a lot of people run away from love because they are scared of the ending rather than enjoying the chapters

i can but i wont. It waa patty smyth and don henly "sometimes love aint enough" and hes the reason why i dont have "fun" with people who cant control their emotions. I was pissed of cause i was having a great time

Ouch. I wish I hadn't asked now. Love isn't enough is exactly what my ex said when she filed for divorce.

Same here with the spark when we first kissed, lasted for 3 years and would have her back in a heartbeat

i still love him x he taught me unconditional love and now i feel like that with a lot of people. life is to burn like fire, love like there is no tomorrow and laugh at the folly of it all...
