Not sure I'm allowed to post it here. I thought I would try POF again and the OK site for dating.

Clearly put looking for a LTR etc. Second message on POF, just says hello sexy. Now that immediately says to me, they're after just a shag. But is it me reading too much into that as I'm too Fabbed.

I find it really frustrating when I'm trying to look for something more and the sites that are supposed to be dating, are worse than here for finding genuine people who truly want to date.

I have exactly the same problems on dating sites. I think people know they can get sex on the internet they just use the wrong sites.

I've come off the dating sites for that reason

Their blurb says they have cleaned it up. I'm going to give up on there I think. I've already spotted someone I know who is married there.

I wouldn't class PoF as a dating site anymore...

I mean it's name says it all really ...

I would say it is a site where people use it to look for casual sex rather than anything long term

i've managed to make a new pof profile after my cuckolding/3sum one got deleted...

put you want to get married, that's what i've done. i do get a lot less messages but at least i'm not wasting my time looking at mingers who think i'm an easy lay.

it is shit that guys think i'm on there for a fuck just coz i'm on here, especially as i'm not even on here for only a fuck.

The OK site is good but PoF is a joke, my partner was on there and said it was awful. I has a profile for a day on there and never messaged anyone

POF, tinder, happn etc are basically hook up sites these days. It you genuinely want to date or something more serious look at "match" I know a few of my ex colleagues met their husbands on there. They told me as its a subscription site (about a tenner a month I think) there was more genuine daters on there and I don't think they have a problem with the fake profiles set up to trap men into subscriptions either.

When I was single POF used to annoy me as the intentions of most (not all) were from guys who wanted a 'hook up' but thought places like FAB were too seedy. It felt like they just wanted to con a nice girl into bed rather than accept the lifestyle choices of a liberated female.

My best relationship successes had come from fab or meeting in a swingers club... Which kinda makes sense. Means I don't intimidate the poor soul who gets to share my life with me.

I joined POF earlier today and made no illusions about what I was there for. Casuals dates, it took me an hour to get chatting to a lovely lady who wants the same, no commitments but dates and evenings away. We're meeting on Monday.

So I'm gonna buck the trend here and say, I like it so far at least.

I barely got a response on fab, on POF, I've cooled off my activity as o was getting too many.

I've see your mistake op ..you've clearly stated looking for a ltr... You're forgetting guys don't read profiles

, I do believe there are guys on pof who are looking for relationships (I am) as with most internet based things you'll have to search for what you seek.
