"I can take the inane babbling no longer, I can't deal with the constant singing along to the radio (even to the adverts) and I don't give a fuck what happened in Coronation Street last night. To stop me from shouting "shut the fuck up" at the top of my voice at my roomies... I've plugged in my headphones and am listening to the soothing tones of Adele on my iPod. I suspect it is rude but less rude than telling them they're gimps right?! "i have to do that when i go on public transport.... better rude than a machine gun! xx | |||

Thing is... I have a different job to them and effectively they are the typing pool... there's a whole load of resentment going on because I do something else but I'm still classed as part of their team. I spend my days feeling more and more uncomfortable. Now I'm just trying to ignore it but I suspect I'll get the blame for causing an atmosphere since I don't join in with the "personal life" chatter. You lot know more about me than they do... you're at least not going to tell the boss that 'I've been away for a dirty weekend' | |||

It IS the same everywhere else! They finish at 5pm (yet pack up about 4.40pm)... I'm the only one left till 6pm and I long for that last hour of the day when the night girls come in and rescue me. They moan but at least they're funny!!
Clearly they think I do nothing all day cause most of my stuff is computer based (and I'm a dab hand at multi-tasking before someone pipes up about me being here all day!) and I'm not opposed to helping them out but when that happens, I take their work, then they're finished and watching TV while I'm doing their stuff and my own stuff is piling up. I can't win!
Babbling... I mean I talk shite but I've never heard anything like it!!  | |||
