It was open and very public abuse, which continued long after the incident in the form of "punishment" by demotion. I'm a lot stronger than you think. I work my arse off at work, more so than anyone in my department. I've been kicked in the teath and bollocks so many times but still get up from the floor, hold my head high and continue with what I do.

It's precisely because you strike me as being a strong person who stands up for themselves that I couldn't imagine you being demoted/relieved of duties very unfairly and just taking it lying down.
You say yourself you dish out criticism at work,
as well as take it. Would you not be critical of an appalling, unjust decision against you?
Reading your words about your approach to work in the last post only makes me more convinced you wouldn't take it lying down (rightly). They scream "man who accepts fair criticism but would take no crap", not someone who'd be "quiet as a mouse" (see what I did there ). | |||
