She was definitely mistreated and humiliated in the public eye for carrying out her duty which was to look after the players fitness and health.

Id happily say the majority of people would want to make an example of a previous employer if they hunmiliated them in the public eye for actually doing their specific job

Apparently she has turned down £1.2 million from Chelsea ..... But she wanted her day in court..... So don't be surprised if she wins the case and the judge awards her costs and a years salary ..... Which I very much doubt would come remotely close to £1.2m but She will have won which is her stated aim....

"Who think just another tipical woman after all she can get"

A typical woman after all she can get?

So you'd accept being publicly humiliated for doing your job? You'd accept your employer treating you badly and just walk away happy with your lot?

Accepting £1.2m would have come with a compromise agreement and no sanctions to the employer. Good for her if she's willing to stick to her principles rather than grab the money.

"So she's settled?

Because she had a very strong case & Chelsea knew it would cost a lot more than £1.2m if the tribunal ruled in her favour. She'll get what she deserves & be able to hold her head high.

Having read comments made by Chelsea & Mourinho (if BBC is to be believed) they have admitted she was right to do what she did & Mourinho admitted calling her "daughter of a whore"

But that's why I don't understand why she settled.

If she had a strong case and would have won more money and more importantly won a judgement against Chelsea then why on earth wouldn't she want to follow it through?

Would you just accept it if you'd had a bollocking in public and you'd done nothing wrong? Bit weak to just accept it then, I'd say.

Exactly. Chelsea will have wanted to settle as Tribunal rulings are public documents. This way we'll never know what was agreed.

Yes, women should just accept being called things like mother of a whore and just get on with it

They should accept being marginalised and passed over simply for doing their job (and following correct practice).

Rich men and employers should in no way face up to their wrong doings in a court.

Ridiculous comment

Why let Chelsea off the hook?

If you have a point to prove then prove it.

It's like when celebrities settled with News International over phone hacking.

If organisations/bosses do wrong then hold them fully to account.

Chelsea have apologised unreservedly and Jose has issued a "statement".

I don't know the woman but I'm glad she stood up for herself and I wish that was typical of all women.

We don't know what she settled for though.

It could have been for more than the £1.2m she was offered and turned down.

It's all bollocks if you ask me. A pathetic excuse to fuck over a employer for big bucks. She's got the big payout now but she's fucked herself too. Who is going to employ her now? She's probably made enough to retire now anyway.

I don't like stories like this. If you haven't got the balls and strength to take a bit of criticism, your just too weak. That's my generalisation of it

A bit of criticism is being told that you did wrong and here's how to improve in a professional manner and privately. Being called names and shouted at in public is not a bit of criticism.

Thankfully, you weren't asked.

This wasn't "a bit of criticism". It was open and very public abuse, which continued long after the incident in the form of "punishment" by demotion.

Chelsea and Mourinho wouldn't have settled if they felt he or the club didn't have a case to answer to.

I'm a lot stronger than you think. I work my arse off at work, more so than anyone in my department. I've been kicked in the teath and bollocks so many times but still get up from the floor, hold my head high and continue with what I do.

It's all sticks and stones. Maybe I'm just old fashioned and a dying breed. Everything had to be just so politically these days. I'm not like that. I simply dish out criticism knowing full well that I can take it too.

We've all done that.

The thing is, we don't have to.

I'm guessing you like being treated like that, can't see why else you'd tolerate it.

And she wasn't criticised, she was verbally abused and insulted in front of thousands of people and demoted.

Not sure why you've concluded that I think you're not strong

It's precisely because you strike me as being a strong person who stands up for themselves that I couldn't imagine you being demoted/relieved of duties very unfairly and just taking it lying down.

You say yourself you dish out criticism at work,

as well as take it. Would you not be critical of an appalling, unjust decision against you?

Reading your words about your approach to work in the last post only makes me more convinced you wouldn't take it lying down (rightly). They scream "man who accepts fair criticism but would take no crap", not someone who'd be "quiet as a mouse" (see what I did there ).
