... But I get bi/gay guys still asking to meet up. It's almost like saying, "I'm fussy, but you'll do."

I'm thinking about turning straight

People don't read profiles - they simply look at them

Why do people have bucket lists if they're:

1/ younger than 70

2/ not dying of a terminal illness

?

I think generally it's something they want to do before they die.

I don't really have a bucket list per se, like in it's not written down, but there's still a few things in swinging I want to try that I haven't done before.

So that's just a list of things you want to do.

I associate a Bucket List with the film of the same name, ie two grumpy old men dying and living out some fantasies before they do.

I've never seen the film but I've heard of the phrase. I think it's simply become a generic term for a list of things a person wants to do before they die. As a smoker I should probably start realising mine

I had on my profile that I won't meet smokers, it's not that I'm being fussy I was a smoker for many years. 9 years ago it put me in hospital & I was given the choice of giving up smoking or not seeing my grandchildren grow up.

My children & friends who smoke all smoke outside of my home out of respect for the very difficult task I had to give up in the first place & that second hand smoke can do just as much damage as smoking yourself.

It's not just an excuse to some of us out here, it's a life changing choice we had to make

Ditto to that. I'd simply rather meet people who don't have an issue with it.

I get that, honestly.

I fully support the smoking ban as pubs are cleaner, transport is cleaner and children are healthier not being in cars with a parent smoking (I've never understood why parents would do such a thing) and I've smoked since I was 9. I don't remember what it's like not to smoke so it irks me that some people won't meet smokers buy still message me.

I mean, it's not like I'm going to spark up during sex and use their backs as ash trays, so what's the problem. I'm fit, reasonably healthy and I'm on an exercise bike in the gym as I'm typing this lol

You never know when, so it's best to just start that list of buckets ASAP.

So what you're saying is that I could pop my clogs at any time so if a non smoker messages me I should bite the bullet if you'll forgive the pun
