I think we'll have to consider the solutions, once more jobs are outsourced to technology and need to create societies that are harmonious, healthy and fair. We can increase our income from taxes that are being evaded, as £trillions currently are and people will be more appropriately supported, if they're in care roles for family, friends etc.

I agree, I think it has the potential to remove a lot the inequality and grant people more freedom than our current system does, more trust, less fear (from losing out). As more jobs become automated this is becoming a more and more a reality. 

It's going to be tough getting it past those who embrace the politics of self entitlement though and in our case I'm wondering if it could be used erode the universal benefits we already have, like the the NHS.

It's going to to be really interesting to see how these pilots go, I think there's one about to start in Canada as well (in Ontario).
