whats your preference when taking a selfie?

also which images do you prefer to look at more? ones with eye contact to the camera or eyes hidden?

I have a very lazy eye so never look directly at the camera .

Sabrina always looks at the camera .

Generally a "looking slightly off to the side" look can be more striking, I feel. If you wanna get really scholarly about it, look at a guide on drawing interesting facial expressions

I have a bad habit of tilting my head to the side !

Though mostly I only take selfies for here so often my face is hidden or cropped out.

On others I think both ways can look good

ive got a favourite side and also guilty of the face tilt.

in an odd way it was an experiment. same pose just my eyes were different.

the one with eyes down has 50 fabs.. eyes to camera has 100

I much prefer someone to capture me in an "in the moment" shot, it looks much more natural. I used to have a decent camera and tripod, but taking anything even half decent on a phone is an ordeal in itself

oh i suffer with that too.. im actually always smiling and a chirpy lively character but i look well odd in pictures if i smile

i think mine is only slight but i notice it and it annoys me!

its why it takes a million goes at an eyes to camera pic .. but will mainly just go with eyes down (but looks like eyes closed)
