Im not Irish so won't be doing anything to celebrate (sorry to be one of the first to say this) I always find it rather odd how people without Irish connections join in - another excuse for a meaningless piss up in certin quarters, is my only conclusion.

It's Siren's 40th on St Patrick's Day and we're off out for a meal with the family to celebrate. Full celebrations in toon on Sat night.

Personally I'm looking forward to going to Ireland to celebrate St. George's day.

Apparently they are mad about it!

In the pubs they have all of these flags n stuff and everyone drinks pissy weak flat lager and eats Greggs pasties!

It was bizzare living over in N Ireland, we had St Patrick's day off school, but as an English child i wasn't allowed to take the day off for St George's day
