Anybody else fed up of the ever growing list of greats that have been taken so far?

We're only just into June and I've woken up to the news that Ali has passed away. A blessing in disguise as he'd suffered with Parkinson's for many years.

Young MotoGP rider Luis Salom also tragically lost his life yesterday.

#RIPtoallthoselost

And to many of the arseholes and scumbags who continue to breathe - it's high time for them.... #Weallknowsome

I'm sure you've heard this before but death is inevitable.

So you mourn the death of some while wishing it on others?

Irony eludes you I see.

You do realise we're all going to die right?

death is around all the time - only hear about the famous and over tragic - i try not to think about it as its the one thing frm when we were born that is going to happen to all of us for sure

It will only get worse I'm afraid, many iconic people are now in their seventies.

No one lives forever.

It's a very bad year to be a celebrity obituary writer - they're burning out all over the place.

Poor buggers.

Presumably you're less fickle about your nearest n' dearest?

To quote from the Greatest himself, "live each day as if it were your last, as one day it will be true".

little house on the praire

I get more shocked than sad when a celebrity dies unexpectadly. But not as shocked as when someone i know does.

We talk about them because we all "know" them.

I was really upset by terry wogan as he had "always been in my " life" that a favourite uncle.

I wouldnt get upset by someone who i hadnt heard of for 30 years.

Also people like david bowie and micheal jackson although i wasnt a big fan i know they influenced a lot of people through their formative years.

I will be devastated when queenie pops off.

But not as devastated as my stepdad whose coming to the end of his life.

But even if i put a thread up to say hes died i might get condolence messages.

Noone is.going to start varies threads on his life and career.

The reason people talk about celebrity deaths is because we all know them.

It seems a bad year cause a lot of well known people seem to have.died early

But majority of them where ill. They havent just randomly started popping off

Brighton - even Hove!

I was sad when I learned that Graham Moffatt died when he was only 45.

I suppose it was quite some time ago though. He died in 1949 and was the fat cheeky sidekick in the Will Hay films.

half of these people died ages ago though, they weren't really famous now although they are legends.

no offence meant, that's just how i feel and obviously it's sad they've physically died.

Apologies,am I supposed to mourn for the next year or so for people I didn't actually meet?! Yes it's very sad,but it doesn't affect my life.

Not at all - on a long enough time-line, everyone's life expectancy drops to zero

No-one's immune from grief.

I have been incredibly fortunate to get to the ripe old age of 48 without losing anyone within my immediate family,I'll keep you posted on my grieving process though for when I do...
